Forest Remedy

How can Trees Heal Us?

If we could go back in time to see how our ancestors used nature to heal their body and mind, we could learn some amazing remedies.

Lots of people use herbs or ingredients for healing found in the forest. My friend Jaime can’t walk ten steps in the forest without pointing out a healing plant, herb or fungi. We’ve all heard stories of shamans or medicine men or natural healers helping other people ease their pain with natural remedies from the forest.

As we turn to the convenience of prescription or over the counter medications to address pain, it’s easy to forget that nature has a unique healing power. Why not give it a try?

If I asked you to go into the forest and look for the tree that will help you with a fever, which would you select? Would you know what to look for? I bet most of us wouldn’t.

In this article from ‘My Natural Treatment’ you can read in-depth about different trees and their superpowers.
